Responsibilities
- Automation using RestAssured;
- Automation with Appium, creating and executing autotests for mobile apps on Android and iOS platforms;
- Interaction with real devices to perform tests;
- Identifying, analyzing and documenting detected bugs;
- Interacting with developers to fix bugs and improve product quality;
- Regularly updating tests to keep up with product changes;
- Optimizing and refactoring test code to improve test efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
Java:
- Core: Basics of the language, basic operators, loops, conditionals;
- Collections: Understanding the basic collections (List, Set, Map) and their application;
- OOP: Understanding the principles of object-oriented programming;
- TestNG: Basics of working with this framework, understanding its annotations (@Test, @BeforeClass, @AfterClass, etc.) and their application.
Tools and technologies:
- Git: The basics of working with a version control system: commits, branches, merges;
- Maven: Understanding of the build lifecycle, dependencies;
- Selenium: Basic knowledge of how to automate web browsers;
- Appium: Understanding of how to work with mobile apps;
- Xpath: Ability to create basic locators for finding elements on a page;
- HTTP: Basic understanding of the protocol: what requests and responses are, basic methods (GET, POST, etc.), basic response codes (200, 404, 500, etc.);
- Understanding how to use tools like insomnia/postman, curl;
- JSON/XML basics: what they look like, how to work with them.
